Would be happy to recommend for a budget stay.
Comfortable room, clean bathroom, with plenty of tea and coffee supplies noting the lovely four-poster bed made our stay enjoyable, and the complimentary cooked breakfast each morning was delicious.
No complaints.

Nice central location near interesting shops and attractions. Room comfortable with decent in-room amenities like a cafetiere and quality toiletries.
Room a bit cramped compared to advertised photos. Night noise from local pubs and street traffic makes for a less restful sleep, no air conditioning means keeping windows open amplifies the sounds. Breakfast items lacked cleanliness, with dirty cups and cutlery on arrival, and a few overcooked elements in the full English meal.

Perfect for a couple's getaway
I gotta say, the staff were friendly, like, they really went above and beyond. The breakfast? Man, it was solid, with a full English that hit the spot. A good selection of cold choices. Nothing like enjoying a hot meal in the morning, feeling recharged for the day ahead. And let me tell you, we had a lively dinner there too-the atmosphere was buzzing.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but you know, for what you get, it's still acceptable.

Charming hotel with welcoming service
I really enjoyed the stay, especially the charming old-world decor and the friendly staff who made us feel right at home. The breakfast was a highlight, offering a diverse menu that included a delicious vegetarian Full English. The location is perfect for exploring the area's attractions, although the room could have benefited from better sound insulation from the street noise.

the noise from other guests was a bit much at times and we wished our room had been a lil bigger.

Totally recommend for an overnight stay
Clean room, welcoming staff, with convenient free parking and a lovely restaurant serving an excellent breakfast that includes a vegetarian full English option.
Street noise from the pub and traffic could be disruptive if your room is facing the street, especially during warmer seasons when windows may need to be opened.
